My title says it all. They are great, no need to sharpen them, and the price was perfect.

Already used it and it works. Simple, easy to keep clean, and cheap. As the other reviewers have pointed out, it may not work with all cigars, as some may not fit into the cutter. I have not had this problem yet but that is only because I have just started to smoke cigars.

For this price...a double sided guillotine cutter...great for those times you don't want to use your expensive cutters.

the guillotine cigar cutter was a nice addition to the humidor I got my husband for Christmas...it was a suggested item that I would not have thought of to get..he loved it...thanx

It's a decent cutter for its price, but it would've been nice to point out that this cutter is too small for robusto size cigars

Having bought a guillotine cutter, I think they are the perfect cutter for a cigar. But they have to be sharp for that perfect cut. The cutter I bought earlier, said to say, is already getting dull and it is hard to cut with a dull cutter. You could mess up the cigar. So I decided to get a upgrade. As the other one was mostly plastic with metal blades, I decided to go for a stainless steel cutter, without any plastic parts. It feels solid and so far is holding up well.

This is a great product. Worked like a charm and did what it was intended to do.

Very nice cutter. Classy and stylish. A perfect cut every time, and a good price for this item. I'm happy.

I'll keep this short. I've used several cutters over the years and this is far and away the best cutter for the money out there. Sure you can spend $60 plus for a Xikar or other top name unit, but this heavy duty cutter does an fantastic job and for the price you won't ever loose any sleep if you happen to drop it on the course somewhere and have to get a new one.

The quality is perfect, its a very nice design and comes in a plastic case. Great for gift.

This is a very high quality cutter with a solid feel. The cut is smooth and always correctly placed.

After using this cutter for awhile now, I have to say that I'm still impressed every time I use it. Cuts like a dream, and the cuts are always perfect. In the looks department it is excellent too, I get complements on it all the time. The build quality is excellent and feels heavy duty. This one is a keeper for sure.

Works great, especially if you have friends that don't smoke cigars often. It keeps you from cringing when they cut their tips, and it keeps them from creating a bigger pull than they can handle.

I own the Xikar Xi1 cutter and couldn't be happier with my purchase (although I didn't buy it on amazon, I consulted the reviews here). I must say that the fit and finish on this piece are fine. It is built well and the mechanism is tight. It locks the blade at the conclusion of the cut. Also, I find the blade to be very sharp and it cuts larger cigars without a hitch. You will have no more bits of tobacco in your mouth. It is very satisfying to have a clean cut the first time. Also, they offer a lifetime warranty with free blade sharpening. All you have to do is fill out a brief survey and they will register it and send you a free leather sheath. Stop thinking about it and buy it. You'll love it.

I wanted something better than the $4 cutter found at every tobacco store and gas station because they kept crushing my cigars rather than cutting them. I'm only an occasional (about 1 a month) cigar smoker so it didn't make sense for me to buy a $100 cigar cutter but this one was a good price and the quality has been excellent. I got the Titanium one and I really like the solid feel, it keeps the blades very close to eachother as they slide in which is critical in getting a smooth cut without pinching the cigar. I learned to twist the cigar as the blades made contact with it when I was using the cheap cutters and I continue to do this with the Xikar although it is plenty sharp and it isn't necessary it has simply become a habit. Like any good, quality item I recommend maintaining it for the best longevity, the best way to do this is to keep the blade clear of any debris. It also travels well as the built in locking mechanism keeps it closed at all times and it fits in a pocket watch sized pocket in slacks and jeans. I would recommend this cutter to anyone who appreciates good cigars and is tired of ruining them with a poorly built, dull cutter.

A sleek clean looking cutter. Very solid build. Cuts with perfection. No flash, just truly helps you enjoy your cigars. After doing the research for a quality cutter, this is what I came up with and I am happy with the results.

This is a very nice lighter. It lights easily and burns hot. The detachable cutter is a bit small, but it will work fine, at least on smaller ring gauges. The fuel gauge (which is behind the detachable cutter) is a big plus.

Excellent product for a great price. The online picture doesn't do this item full justice.

I bought this lighter as a replacement to my "cheapo" lighter that just has way too many issues igniting. I've been using it for a few weeks now and I have to say, I'm extremely pleased with it! It ignites virtually every time with a very smooth slide action and holds a beautiful strong single flame. I thought the cutter would just be a novelty add-on, but I've found it to be a very effective cutter! It's very sharp and makes a nice clean cut. Another thing I really love about this lighter is the visible fuel gauge that is found behind the cutter. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone in the market. Great price and a great product!

I bought one of these from the local tobacco shop recently, and just playing with the cigar cutter (I don't smoke cigars) broke it. The blade got caught at a funny angle and wouldn't slide, and then the whole thing just fell off and wouldn't go back on. Aside from the cutter, which wasn't the reason I bought it anyways, the lighter works pretty well. After refilling it a couple of times now, I'm having a tough time getting it full. It gets a lot of use and maybe only lasts 2-3 days now before I have to fill it up again. In the end - the reason I'm writing this review is because I'm on here looking for one of higher quality, and just happened to see this in the list. Thought I'd throw my $0.02 in here.

The lighter is ok for the price but dont expect the cutter to be anything great - I tried cutting a cigar and the thing came out of its holding bracket..

I like this Lighter/Cutter...much better for my cigars than matches or a regular lighter! Great product!!!

I replaced my old plastic cutter with the this one. First of all Visol is a nice looking tool, i have no problem leaving this out on bar counter. It looks nice and does not appear cheap in either feel or appearance. I have cut about ten cigars and each one was done with a nice crisp cut, helping enhance my smoking experience.

It's a good cutter nothing fancy. It does a good job at cutting with ease.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. It makes a great cut and does not pinch and rip like others I have had.

This cutter is cheap to purchase and its build quality reflects exactly that. The sample I received included blades that were not particularly sharp, and had so much play that the blades tended to 'nick' each other when the cutter was opened and closed. Since the blades were not particuilarly sharp, they tended to unnecessarily 'mash' the cigar before they began to cut, and the cut itself was relatively rough. At this item's price you can't complain too much, but just be aware that you may not get a cutter with which you will be happy.

For the price, this guillotine does a great job. Needs a bit of lube on the edge away from the cigar. But it's sharp and accurate. Good weight. I recommend this if you want a cheap cutter but don't want plastic.
