This thing is excellent, yet people are crying about it? I do not understand... The reality of the matter is: Extremely sturdy construction, nice and SOLID with a bit of weight to it. I don't know about anyone else but when I buy metal stuff, I want some weight. I don't know why this matters to me... Regardless, it's solid. It grinds perfectly, no "big chunks" left behind as one user commented. Not sure if they're doing it wrong or what but I have not had a single problem with the grind quality. As for the room this thing contains -- another complaint by more than one user -- how much room do you need? I mean, unless you are lung cancer waiting to happen, there is plenty of room for the grinder to pack one, maybe two fairly large pipes in a single grind. Don't be lazy and do a second grind if you have to. Who stashes their herb in their grinder, anyhow? Anyway, great product, I love it, looks sweet, and you can get the crusher in different colors! Not through this product thread, but others! Go look! I wish I had gotten a red one, but this one is awesome, too.

Finding the perfect tobacco grinder is always a hard thing to do. Sorry to inform you but this is not your perfect tobacco grinder, but it is definitely worth $20.00 to get the job done. I bought this Tobacco grinder for a friend, and when I opened it to look the product over I learned that the compartment that holds the tobacco is rather small and short. Then again, if I remember correctly the grinder does grind your tobacco rather finely. It all depends on what kind of tobacco you have and how the tobacco was cured in my opinion. I'd say the storage is good for maybe 3 bowls in your favorite average sized tobacco pipe. Again, I bought this product for a friend so I'm not sure how the pollen accumulates. I'm wishy-washy about the two screen filtering method for catching tobacco pollen. It just seems with two screens you will collect Pollen more slowly but obtain a more pure product. Also, when grinding it can be a not so smooth process with this grinder. I personally own a Sharpstone grinder that Amazon does not carry. I purchased it at a local headshop for triple the price of the chromium crusher and it has 1 screen with a translucent top. It stores a good amount and obtains pollen at a good rate, again depends on the tobacco product. Honestly buy this grinder though its a great price for a seemingly solid Tobacco grinder.

Pros: - For $20, you really aren't going to get a better grinder anywhere. This has the quality of its $40 counterparts - People criticize the screen for being too fine, but the buildup you collect is much more pure. Grinders with bigger screens tend to have bits of plant matter that fall through - This grinder just feels durable and strong. I could spike this thing on a cement sidewalk and it would probably grind just like new - The ground product is the perfect consistency for rolling. You will never get consistency like this if you break your smoking herbs up by hand - The teeth are sharp and plentiful, but the grinder leaves no flecks of metal behind like some cheap grinders do - It came with a nice little carrying pouch Cons: - I was expecting this grinder to be black based on the picture, but it was a chrome color instead. Color doesn't matter at all to me, but it's something potential buyers should be aware of - The chamber where the grinded product falls into is very shallow. If you are careless when separating the layers, you might have your herbs spill out - It might take a few tries to line up the threads on the layers correctly Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I shutter to think about the grinders at my local smokeshop I was considering purchasing for almost double the price. I highly recommend this grinder to anyone

So far, had this grinder for about 3 weeks now and my only complaint was not buying a second for a buddy.

I bought a plastic pill grinder from the local Rite aid that works better for $5. This thing leaves big chunks. Looks nice but disfunctional. Your better off using a folded cloth and a hammer.

This is a perfect grinder. It perfectly grinds up anything you put in it and the size is great for grinding large amounts of whatever you happen to be putting in it. The magnet is strong, stays on even if you turn the whole thing upside down. Screen works great, kief goes through, everything else stays on top. Some grinders sell for $50+, but with this baby going for around $20, those others would just be a waste of money.

Great product. But if I had my druthers I would recommend looking for item that is less in circumstance and taller if you have small hands.

great product. I've owned a few hand held grinders and this one works the best. a must have for anyone using vaporization. most other grinders look like novelty items beside this one, but don't put your herb in the very center! it will crush it, lol

This grinder is worth every penny. It is effective, sturdy, and essential for saving and using every bit of your herbs.

The Chromium Crusher lives up to its name and shreds whatever you put it in. The "CC" has substantial weight to it (compared to alum) and works well. The weight to the lid allows you to push down and spin the lid. Sometimes leaves get stuck in the middle requiring manual intervention - this doesn't happen on the bigger versions however.
