The Milano Glass Top 75-100 Cigar Humidor in Cherry The Milano Glass Top 75-100 Cigar Humidor in Cherry

I bought this for my hubby at Christmas and it it turned out to be a great gift! The cedar smell is very strong (smelled up my walk in closet), the hygrometer has worked thus far, and the lock works. He also likes that he can just gaze at his cigars w/o opening it. It is very easy to season and keep the right humidity using the boveda packs (you need 4 for this size humidor). There were no instructions but it wasn't hard to figure out what goes where.

This is a very nice product. The scent is incredible, I just wished it came with instructions- this was our first humidor and we were excited to use but but it came with a lot of parts we didn't know what to do with. Otherwise, very nice product.

Product arrived exactly as specified. Looks great. Hygrometer arrived damaged, seller replaced immediately, no questions asked.

Great looking humidor with a glass top allowing you to gaze on your cigars without opening.

beautifully made, excellent fit and finish, an excellent product. i'm a big fan of natural cherry wood, so i ordered the cherry version of this humidor. unfortunately, it's finished with a very red stain, which, to my taste, cheapens the look. i won't rate it down for this, since this is a matter of personal taste. it's not bad enough for me to go to the trouble of returning and re-ordering the unit with a different veneer (the basic structure is cedar, as it should be). i'm using the "HygroSet II" round digital hygrometer, calibrated with the "Boveda One-Step Calibration," and they work very well. i'm also using a gel humidifier. in retrospect, i would have gotten humidifier beads from heartfeltindustries.com instead. about the vendor: this item is available from multiple vendors thru amazon. mine came from Cigar Extras (shipped by CentralChef.com). it was very well packed and arrived promptly, in perfect condition. also, its internal relative humidity was already 67%, as measured by my calibrated hygrometer, so it needed only the most minimal seasoning!

This is a great value for a 100 cigar humidor with a clear top. The humidor is Spanish cedar lined and includes a tray, hygrometer, and humidifier

I have written knowledge that they shipped and sold me a BROKEN humidor. The bottom was clearly busted and when I asked for a replacement I was informed that it was still in workable condition. I did not agree to buy nor do I want a BROKEN but usable humidor. The only other solution they offered was a 10% credit to their store. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PATHETIC COMPANY. I will be turning them into the better business bureau.

My wife bought me this humidor for my 26th birthday and I love it! It's quite a bit bigger than I was imagining, but still small enough to fit well on top of my dresser. The cherrywood is very classy looking and the glass top seems quite solid. The directions for seasoning the humidor are a little vague if, like me, you have zero experience with humidors. I took it to my local cigar shop just to make sure I was doing it right. The owner said to buy distilled water (regular water will leave mineral deposits) and fill both the humidifier (don't put it in the humidor overflowing, just tilt it over the sink after filling to drain off any excess then wipe the top off with a rag) and a small, shot glass size container of distilled water. Finally, take a clean cloth and dampen it with the distilled water water then wipe down all the interior surfaces of the humidor including the tray. People disagree over this last step with some saying it warps the wood, however I did it and it worked great...I think it would only warp it if you soaked the interior rather than just making it damp. Finally, the analog hygrometer on the front looks really nice, but they are notoriously inaccurate. Spend the extra $15-$20 and buy a digital hygrometer. The difference between my digital and analog versions is about 10-12%...pretty significant. Remove the shot glass of distilled water once your digital hydgrometer reads 70-75% (24-48hrs). At this point you should be set. I've found that to maintain that humidity level I have to refill my humidifier about once every two weeks. So far it has been working like a champ. Great humidor, great price. My only complaint is that the packaging was a nightmare. My wife had ordered my some accessories and the box came partially opened revealing a ridiculous attempt by someone to smash the accessories on top of the humidor when it obviously didn't fit. The result was that it broke a jar of humidifying crystals and chipped the edge of my humidor. Annoying!

I'm a newbie cigar smoker. This product works great for keeping my cigars in the best possible condition. Package came very fast and product was just as described.

It's everything that the ad say. Easily fit 75 Romeo and Juliet No 2 cigars. Wonderfully crafted.

Picture does not do it justice; I think the picture is the 50 cigar unit. Actual unit is taller, and a great cherry finish (more red than picture). Arrived in perfect condition. Top has a great seal. Hygrometer is glass and metal, not plastic, but you will be buying a digital hygrometer as well, right? Two movable cedar dividers in bottom, one in tray. All interior, tray, and dividers are cedar. Large rectangular humidifier with optional magnetic mounts. Since you are not mounting the humidifier on the inside of the lid, positioning it in the full humidor can be a problem. For this reason I might go without the glass top, but I like seeing my fine cigars inside and a quick glance to a digital hygrometer (purchased separately). If this is your first humidor purchase, many people recommend a 100 cigar size. And you can't beat the price and quality of this humidor!

This is my first humidor. As far as appearance, it looks great, nice and elegant. The wood smells great and looks like good quality. I'm having a hard time seasoning it but that could just be due to inexperience. Overall it's a good first humidor buy.

This is a great quality humidor at a great price -- what more can I say? Very pleased.

The box itself is very nice but like other reviews I agree the hrygrometer does not work. Still overall it is not a bad price for what you get.

... it's really 4.5 stars to be exact. Quality, appearance, and value wise, this is actually easily a 5 star humidor. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the humidor arrived with a small chip in one of the corners. I thought about exchanging it for another one, but didn't want to risk the replacement not getting to me in time (it was purchased as a Christmas present), so I decided I'd let my boyfriend, the recipient, decide whether it was worth the hassel of exchanging it once I'd given it to him. Well, he loved it, chip and all, and decided to just keep it (it helped that we were able to cover up (for the most part, anyway) the chip by filling it in with a permanent marker) :) Chip aside, this really is a great humidor (when used with a good quality humidifier gel - not sure about the humidifier thing it came with). It does its job of keeping the humidity at a perfect 70-72% (it's also really nice having the hygrometer on the outside so you don't have to open the humidor to check the humidity), it's simply beautiful to look at, and the price really can't be beat. I would recommend it.

this item is great and it looks great. However the problem about the hygrometer is not the problem like most are saying in this review. The main problem i have solved is that the crystal humidifier that it comes with is not good enough for the humidore. You need another humidifier in inside it to get optimum humidity. I added the gel humidifier inside with the one it came with and by the next day when i checked it it had exactly 70% humidity on the hygrometer.

The Pompeii 120 Cigar Inlay Glass Top Humidor The Pompeii 120 Cigar Inlay Glass Top Humidor

During the early 90's I belonged to a cigar club, had my own humidor "locker" at the club and had a custom, 500 cigar rare-wood humidor built for me for home use. That was then; I smoke cigars a lot less frequently now and needed a smaller, more modest humidor. I love the look of the high-end humidors like the kind that they sell at Nat Sherman's in Manhattan (a true Mecca for the cigar lover) but I didn't want to spend that much. I was very dubious when I first saw the Pompeii humidor. It really looked nice but can someone get a decent product for this price? The answer is "Yes!". Yes, this is imported (you guess from where) and yes it has flaws but the bottom line is that it works and it works well. When it is new you should wet down the interior before adding cigars and let it sit for a week, this will season it somewhat. Once seasoned it has kept my cigars at 70% humidity for weeks at a time without maintenance. After two or three weeks I soak the humidification blocks for 2 hours and I am good to go. The only problem that I have had has been that the blocks tend to get a little moldy around the vents. I rinse them in very hot water and occasionally use a mild bleach rinse. Other than that it has been much better than I expected for the money. I've been using mine for two years now and it looks really nice in my living room. The window allows me to show off my high-end cigars to guests and I store my everyday smokes in the bottom, under the top drawer. The lid fits reasonably tight and the hardware is decent. The inlay could pass for a much more expensive brand and the gauge is dead-on accurate (I checked it with a pro-model gauge). I give it 3 1/2 stars for quality, five for value so 4 stars all together.

This is a beautiful humidor. Lid closes just the way you want it, with a push of air, evidencing the good seal. Seems to me these used to go for over $300 at the cigar heyday.
